Famous

Today is Valentines day. A day for everyone in love to spend lots of money on their significant other. A day for lonely people to feel even more lonely. And a day for greeting card companies, flower shops, and Sees Candy to rake in the dough.

I know I already did my Valentines Day post, but that was 4 days ago, and you are probably eager for another one of my hilarious lists. So here it is people . . . famous people I was once in love with . . . if you don't recognize some of these names, you are probably not alone.

1.) Peter Scolari . . . I'm sure most of you have heard me talk about him. I fell in love with him while watching Nick at Nite during the summer of '98. From Newhart to Bosom Buddies to Honey I shrunk the Kids: the tv show . . . he will always have a place in my heart.

2.) Pierce Brosnan . . . although he is slightly more popular than I normally go for, he stole my heart when I began watching reruns of . . . yes you guessed it, Remington Steele.

3.) Charles Shaughnessy . . . he didn't only steal Fran Drescher's heart.

4.) Paul Bettany . . . this was a short one. Ever see Wimbledon? If you have you'd understand.

5.) John Krasinski . . . this was also short because I soon realized my heart really belonged to the next guy on this list. (Not that I wouldn't still marry him)

6.) Steve Carell . . . He can be more adorable than you think. Michael Scott is not what won me over. It was his movie roles. Dan In Real Life to be more specific. Unfortunately he's married with kids.

7.) Finally, and most recently, Demetri Martin . . . he's only ten years older than me, and he's smart. He attended Yale and NYU Law school on a full scholarship. I'm hoping for the 6 degrees of seperation to help me meet him. Once he meets me it shouldn't be too difficult for him to fall in love with me.

So there you have it. My 7 true loves.

Did you ever meet any of these people?

well anonymous # 2. I'm glad you asked. I met Peter Scolari at Duke's Bar and Grill in Ventura, Ca one fateful night.

It was amazing.

You forgot to mention your ridiculously coincidental meeting with Scolari at In-N-Out Ventura... perhaps driving home the point that he is a D Level celebrity.

anonymous #3 - I didn't meet him at In N Out Ventura, I met him down the street at Duke's. Like I said before. And maybe he is a D level celebrity, but it doesn't change the fact that I was in love with him when I was 15.
