What's the last thing you want to find when you're folding your laundry?
Any guesses? . . .
Any guesses at all?
I'll give you a clue. It's an article of clothing . . . but it's not yours . . .
. . .
. .
.
That's right, someone else's sock*.
* I don't have a washer and dryer in the apartment I live in, so I do my laundry in the buildings laundry room. That sock could belong to anybody . . . although now it belongs to the garbage. I guess that's how socks go missing.

I'm sorry, but I'm going to have to report you to the authorities. Stolen socks are a serious offense, and cause a great deal of stress to both people and socks alike.
I wouldn't worry about the socks... There are worse things you could find.
Did you make sure you got everything of yours? I've lost a bra in a community laundry incident. I've spent a lot time telling myself that it fell behind the washer when I was loading instead of some Creeper stealing it...
Cofo - I already reported finding the sock as a crime. The police are currently spending day and night looking for the culprit. Punishment will be cruel and unusual.
Anon - Like what!? Because I can't think of anything. (Please note that was a rhetorical question, meant solely for the purpose of hilariousness).
Maureen - Unfortunately I don't keep an inventory of all my clothes that go into the washer. However, there were no bras in this load.
At least it was clean lol the last thing I want to finis while folding clothes is like gum or, now and later, or worse crayon!
When I lived in college and used the communal laundry room, I definitely came away with girl's underwear in my load (uh wow TWIS). And subsequently, I lost my really pretty ones I got from the UK that had blue birds on them. But the ones I got in return were gross, and I tossed them. A lot of suss things happen in the laundry!
I can think of many grosser things...maxi pads, underwear, bugs...
yuck. at least you got it when it was clean.
I think Madelyn's trauma has more to do with the fact that someone else's GROSS, DISGUSTING FOOT was once in that sock!
